He was born in 1967 in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. He graduated from the National High School for Fine Arts in Sofia. Tempted by photography, he decided to pursue his new passion instead of finishing his art degree. After decades of work in the field of journalism and photography, Veselin Borishev continues not to shy away from being himself - both in life and in photography.
